Summons

Guide

An Elf can call a monster to fight beside her. There are seven, and each one is taught by an Orb of Summoning: the orb's level picks the summon. +0 calls a Goblin, +1 a Stone Golem, and so on up to +6, the Soldier.

The seven summons

Summon Orb Energy Mana Health Damage Attacks every What it fights like
Summon Goblin Goblin Orb of Summoning +0 30 40 45 7 to 10 1.8 s The smallest. One hit at a time.
Summon Stone Golem Stone Golem Orb of Summoning +1 60 70 465 62 to 68 2.2 s Slow, with big hits.
Summon Assassin Assassin Orb of Summoning +2 90 110 800 95 to 100 2.0 s One hit at a time.
Summon Elite Yeti Elite Yeti Orb of Summoning +3 130 160 1,200 120 to 125 1.4 s The most health of the first four.
Summon Dark Knight Dark Knight Orb of Summoning +4 170 200 3,000 150 to 155 1.4 s Every third attack is a Twisting Slash that hits the monsters round the target.
Summon Bali Bali Orb of Summoning +5 210 250 5,000 245 to 255 1.0 s One hard hit at a time. Casts Cometfall when a group of monsters is near its target.
Summon Soldier Soldier Orb of Summoning +6 300 350 4,000 190 to 195 0.7 s Shoots Triple Shot on every attack, from range. Its attacks can also hit monsters near the target.
  • Energy is the Energy stat the Elf needs before she can call the summon. Each cast spends the Mana shown.
  • Health, damage and attack speed are the summon's own values. Where a monster page exists, it lists the same numbers.
  • Monster pages exist for the Goblin, Stone Golem, Assassin, Elite Yeti and the Dark Knight. Bali and the Soldier have none.

Differences from the original

  • Shops. Shops sell only the Orb of Summoning +0 (Goblin) and +1 (Stone Golem). The Assassin, Elite Yeti and the higher summons drop from monsters.
  • Guarding. A summon attacks whoever hits its Elf first and stays on that target. It then returns to what the Elf is fighting.
  • Hunting. A summon finds monsters near its Elf by itself and stays close to her.
  • Drawing attacks. A summon next to its Elf often pulls monsters away from her. A Scroll of Taunt pulls them back to the Elf.
  • Elf buffs also work on her summon. They grow stronger and last longer as she raises Energy.
  • Following. A summon follows its Elf to a new map and after a Teleport, and leaves when she logs out. In PvP it attacks whoever the Elf hits, for a few seconds.

Using them

  • The summon's bar shows the damage it takes.
  • Each summon carries its owner's name. Other players see it as a friend, and your own attacks never target it.
